Keith Gordon and Jon Taylor are Ryukyu Underground. Their sound is inspired by the traditional Okinawan folk music of Japan. The original Kanasando track is from their landmark album "Mo Ashibi." For the Kanasando remix under the Brown Sounds guise, I gave the song a mellow percussive dancehall vibe.

The remix was featured on the Ryukyu Remixed double CD release, alongside versions by Junkie XL, Bill Laswell, Sharaab, Karsh Kale and others.
